i'm having some issues with the export feature. i've been building a program on 7.5 and have the database ready to publish it to the cimplicity machines. when i go into the export feature in the web browser to publish it, it shows the new machine and for the hardware address, it shows the machine id, but under the "location" column it says "sde". does this mean the export is not successful
from the faq: "the cimplify database software stores all of the information about the machines in a database. the information about the machines is stored as a collection of tables and views. these tables and views have a unique identifier, and this identifier is used to refer to the machine. the cimplify database software needs to be installed on all machines that are to be published to cimplify. the cimplify database software is installed on all machines that are part of a cimplify installation."
you say, "the cimplify database software needs to be installed on all machines that are to be published to cimplify". why would i need to install this on all machines the program i am trying to export to the 5.7 ver is on a machine that has already been published to cimplicity ver 5.7. why would i need to install the database software on it
